Who are we, and what is the purpose of our ministry

Bible Brodown is an independent non-profit Bible teaching ministry for Christians who desire an in-depth study of the Word of God. Through our ministry, we write studies, as well as host the Bible Brodown Podcast and Youtube channel. We are not affiliated with any specific church or denomination or affiliated with any Christian organization except the Body of Christ as defined in scripture.

I grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and headed right into the military. I was in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1993 to 1997, and the U.S. Air Force from 2002 to 2010. I possess a M.S. in Information Technology Management, and currently serve as Supervising Federal agent conducting investigations for the U.S. Government.

I have been teaching the Bible for 25+ years. I have taught church Sunday school classes, led weekly home bible studies, and led a church men's group. I have also been involved in various leadership roles at multiple churches.

Teaching is something that I love to do, feel called to do, and something that I take very seriously (re: James 3:1).

I currently reside in the Omaha, NE area. I am married to the most amazing woman (Sara), and I have three wonderful children (Lily, Lucas, and Amelia).

ABOUT US

I am a Texas boy. I have a B.S. in Business Administration from Lamar University, and God has blessed me with a job at a management service organization in the medical world.

I am thankful to have been born to parents who raised me up in the way I should go. Thanks to their example, I grew up in church and have never wavered in my faith in or fear of God. I now seek to continue their example by being a Godly husband and father to my wife, Heather, and two kids, Isaac and Olivia.

Like Billy, I am drawn to teaching. The Holy Spirit has given me that portion of faith which leads me to desire understanding and to then want to share that understanding with others.

My hope is that, through this ministry, we can humbly share what God has given us. All wisdom and knowledge is His, and we are excited to have this opportunity to teach, to have been given good works to walk in.

GOAL

The goal of our ministry is to provide comprehensive coverage of the Word of God. We will give attention to major topics, doctrines and books to provide essential teachings for spiritual growth. We explore core beliefs, and ensure they line up with scripture, and not tradition or presuppositions based upon one systematic.
